I'm a teacher who discovered Second Life while home for two weeks following minor surgery. I'd heard about it in educational podcasts and checked it out. It's awesome. Teachers, administrators, college professors, and professional development deliverers meet here to collaborate and have fun. I cherish my new personal learning network and the friendships I have made in SL.
didn't the programmers ever notice that in real life, a tight shirt stretches across the chest rather than following the contours of the body? you're friend is not so much wearing a shirt as a skin.

It's like that in SL. You get used to it.
